Just a 10-minute drive from junction 5 of the M62, take the M62 and Queens Drive/A5058 to Childwall Priory Road, before taking Childwall Park Avenue and Woolton Road to Gatacre Brow/B5171.

Had fantastic experience at this pub last night. Steak night excellent value and I would say our steaks (medium for me and well done for my friend) were better than so called high end restaurants. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Will return.

Enjoyed a bottle of wine (didn't have the bottle we wanted in stock) and some starters ith a friend. Both nice. Not at all impressed that you can't collect your loyalty stamp, after you have paid. Staff didn't warn patrons this or people who were claiming the 40% offer. If you have a tab and remind them you can get it. Lots of reserved tables, place was virtually empty and some people couldn't get a table, so we got up and moved, so they could sit down. Finished our drink at the bar. Luckily they got a small table in the end. Hope all the reserved tables were used, or they are turning good business away.

The posh fish and chips were really good, beautiful fish the batter was so light and crisp , Generous portions and a really quick service. The staff are very nice and welcoming. Our desert was really nice. A really lovely lunch .

Nice atmosphere, good deal for Sunday roast £12.99 for 2 courses. The roast is great, the only issue were the roasties.it seems like many places can't get them right 😐

Came here on Saturday with my daughter. We had such a lovely experience. Very clean and welcoming. The staff were all amazing and the food was enjoyed by us both. Would definitely go here again, keep up the good work!
