Had the festive 3 course today with friends. Food was lovely, as we're the staff, nothing too much trouble. Table was laid out beautifully for Christmas as well.
Been here a few times now as its local to me food is nice and tasty plus all fresh portions are good plus prices are competitive nice place to pop into for a drink or food definitely recommend
A nice pub I enjoyed my evening the beer was good. One negative, I was playing in a darts tournament to get to the loo everyone has to walk through the throwing area. I found this quite rude and off putting if you want to hold the tournament then at least consider the space required for the teams to be able to concentrate.
We ordered Nachos for a late afternoon snack, good selection of draught cider on offer, bar and seating areas kept very clean and tidy, polite staff and toilets were kept nice and tidy. Great little pub to have a few drinks and snack on a summer evening!
Very friendly staff, I was served by Leo.. As people who read my reviews know hygiene is top of my list in any eatery and this place was right up there !! The kitchen staff and cleaning staff at the birch tree have really kept this place spotless. I've seen much newer kitchens that didn't have this level of cleanliness. The food was beautifully presented. The bar and toilet area were also spotlessly clean as you can see from the photos. This place gets a big thumbs up from 👍👍👍
