Booked a welcome home meal for my daughter from the festive menu, which was pre-ordered. The pub itself was pretty quiet which was surprising on a Friday evening. The food was very nice, just wasn’t overly keen on the tart - but that’s personal taste rather than anything against the pud. We were all big fans of the broccoli cheese! It was unfortunate they had not taken any notice of the requests in the notes of the preorder, meaning my daughter’s main & dessert were not quite as she would have preferred. Therefore if you have any specific preferences it might be worth giving them a call prior to your visit just to double-check they’ve received them. Asked for tubs to take home the leftovers, but we were told they weren’t allowed to put leftovers in tubs, but they at least wrapped it in foil for us.
Beautiful inside with lots of festive decorations. Visited for a meal for a birthday treat. Food was excellent and portions very generous. Dog friendly as well such a bonus. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely recommend to family and friends.🙂
Only booked here because our original choice pub didn't answer the phone. Having booked here instead, and bear in mind we'd not been before, and I had the in-laws to impress, I was wondering what I'd let us in for. First there was the artificial turf on the bar, then they couldn't find our booked table (turned out someone else was sat at it) so we chose our own table (I think we were in the dog section, but that was okay). After that, things picked up significantly. The menu was very comprehensive, good vegetarian selection, good service and food. We were admiring the dog-friendly menu and the clever colour-coded plastic cones to place on your table to indicate to others how your dog reacts. All-in-all a very pleasing visit and I'm sure we'll be back sometime.
We booked a birthday meal for Sunday evening , we were staying in our motorhome at Bridgehouse Marina which was a 5 minute walk from Bellflower This is one the most dog friendly pubs we have ever been in, the dog area was delightful, they even had lots of treats for sale and dog beds too. We ordered our meals I opted for the steak and ale pie my hubby had the fish and chips, both meals were really tasty. All the staff were very friendly and helpful The pub was decorated ready for Halloween it looked fantastic and I'm sure the Halloween party will be great fun.
Was a brilliant meal! Food was great quality with juicy meat, crispy chips and amazing chicken Mac and cheese. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area! Great prices for the quality of food you’re getting
