A really nice Sunday roast - the pork was particularly good, and the beef was nice too. The soufflé starter is also a must-have, it was absolutely delicious! Friendly staff, but seemed a little bit stretched.
Lovely food- 2 course menu at £19 for dinner. We had the sea bass or bream (can’t recall) and roast belly of pork. Food was excellent, candlelit atmosphere was lovely, but in particular the 2 members of staff were professional, friendly and charming.
Booked for lunch on a Sunday on a recommendation and we were very glad we did! We were in the dog friendly bar area with one small dog (there were others!) Food was all delicious and plentiful (two roasts and the beef and veggie pies), staff all lovely and friendly, wonderful atmosphere, decent Aspalls cider on draft. It was very busy (a good sign) so service was a little slow but we could forgive this as everything else was so good - will return!
Had an amazing dinner there, in a fantastic atmosphere. Manager and staff incredibly friendly ... made you feel like you were special guests. I'm sure they managed to make every guest feel that way. It's a beautiful old pub in a stunning Hampshire setting. I shall definitely be going back!
A gem of a find in this lovely village. The Bell Inn had lots of charm and character. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night. Great food and selection of wines. Joules couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating recommending local walks and things to do. Will definitely be back.
