This was our first meal in Scotland and it really set the bar high! The food was *fantastic* and the atmosphere was chill.

Stopped off for a drink here. Inside was packed so sat outside. The views were nice of the Glass street markets. The buskers kept us entertained. They were extremely busy so service was very slow. The bar was always about 3 people deep. Wouldn't recommend if you're in a hurry!

Lovely place with nice atmosphere . Such a shame they are understaffed. Poor staff were so busy and had little time to get tables ready. But they were trying. We had few beers and lovely food

Ordered the seafood risotto. This dish was absolutely delicious that I forgot to take photo before diving in. The squid could have been a little crispier but it didn’t take away from the dish at all. The wife ordered the vintage cheddar Mac and cheese and that was one of the best Mac and cheese’s I’ve had. They forgot the garlic bread but quickly made it right and very apologetic. With all the pubs through Edinburgh we will definitely be back.

We brought a few of our visiting guests from America here for a pub lunch and we all loved it. Great menu, cracking selection of drinks and tap ales. Fun, friendly service and good prices! I had the salmon and cheddar fishcakes and a half Guinness, perfection!
