Our experience wasn't great . We were a party of 6 . Arrived at 8pm , placed our order including ribs . It took 25 minutes for us to be told there were no ribs available so ordered steaks etc . The food arrived at 9.30pm an hour and a half after we arrived , by which time we were starving . We had ordered cocktails only to be told be the waitress that the " barman wouldn't be pleased " that we had ordered cocktails ( well my dear tell the barman that we are the customers , we pay his wages and he works for us not the other way around !!! ) . My food arrived ( smothered chicken ) the salad consisted of chopped lettice . in the coleslaw I found a huge 2cm sharp sliver of plastic , I was gobsmacked , luckily I didn't choke but it was very sharp on my cheek . I was later told that it had come from the mayonnaise bottle ( lovely! ) . Sadly the food was nothing special , pretty much what you would get at a Weatherspoons . The sausages on my friends mixed grill looked anaemic, the steaks were overcooked and well done as opposed to medium rare . On a positive note the issues of late meals and plastic in the food were dealt with well by staff , and they generally came across as helpful and friendly . We were given a discount and my meal was free owing to the plastic contamination. It did feel as though there were not enough staff on the night and I felt our waitress was trying her best to sort things out along with the chef for which I have awarded an extra star . Will we go there again though ? ... definitely not . It felt more Faulty Towers than a resteraunt. Sadly post pandemic we have found it difficult to find any resteraunt locally that has good food and service , sadly this place can be added to the list of a further place to avoid.

I went with my ex work colleagues annual Christmas meal. The food was generally very good especially the Billionaires Profiteroles very generous portion, the Red Wine, Mushroom and Sirloin Steak that I had upgraded to a Fillet Steak was rather tough, someone sitting opposite me said his was OK so I can only assume there was a mixup with the order, the waiters were very good so no complaints there, I must say that the restaurant was very cold on a cold winters evening others were putting their coats on too, generally I don't think that we will be returning next year it maybe will be another local Beefeater. The car parking was full at 7:30 pm and I had to find parking in the nearby multi storey car park at £2,50 for 2½ hours which I thought was reasonable.

Booked a table on Tuesday night with no signs of issues. Lack of parking should have told us it wasn't meant to be. Sat down by the manager and given menus but after waiting nearly 30 minutes for our order to be taken we decided to walk out. 3 members of staff in the building as far as could see (1 manager and 2 servers) but they spent more time looking after a party of 8 and late arrivals preferring a pint. Was much better the week before but can't see us returning any time soon

Been twice this week, once had chicken goujons and skinny fries, fries were just warm, couldn't finish as they went cold whilst eating goujons. Second time, I had fish and chips, batter too thick on fish and not much fish in batter. Thick.cut chips were hot and tasty. Staff friendly

So this is just on Gloucester Quays, the staff are friendly and helpful and atmosphere is nice, they were busy all the time we were there, food was really good and hot, Bailey coffees were nice but just touch more Baileys would of been good. This Beefeater is opposite the Premier Inn which is handy for food and drinks and just relaxing in comfort, will go again as really enjoyed. Went again last night and meal and service really good, Staff friendly and helpful no room to fault at all and was just as busy... Went here 16/01/2023 has table booked for 19.00 pm they seated us and eventually came and explained they were short on staff to help serve which we said was fine, but I don't understand how that can affect the kitchen with cooking all I can say is the meals were terrible, chips cold and the salad was tiny and shrivelled up. Very disappointed as out celebrating birthdays.. The waiters were good and did a good job under the circumstances..
