Got there on a Sunday with 4 adults n 2 kids. They said they were only doing roasts for adults but kids have a choice but it will be 15 mins which was fine. But my daughter knocked a glass of coke over n one of the girls came out with just a mop no bucket n didn't really know what she was doing. Then another came out with a bucket to take over but left it half way through with out putting a wet floor sign up, to deal with mums coffee she had been even with milk that had gone off to put in it. Had to wait ages to get another while they went shop to get fresh milk but after all this n waiting over an HR the food was good but not worth £15 each
Owner very friendly, pub comfortable and welcoming, good choice of drinks, large attractive garden.
A firm favourite on a sunny afternoon 5 minutes outside Luton and never disappoints. Good selection of drinks for all with traditional food and friendly service and atmosphere. Social distancing measures in place with the winning still being the well kept rear garden.
Lovely pub, clean and tidy and very comfy. They serve roast's dinner throughout the week also which is fantastic. The grounds are clean and tidy and decorated very nice, upto date. They also have a nice garden to sit outside.
Had lunch here yesterday, all decorated for Christmas, typical village pub. They do full meals, a roast available, nice little starters, baguettes salads on the side etc. It would have been 5stars but for the very grumpy landlord.
