A pleasant village pub with a good range of basic food. Had Sunday roast which was cooked well with crispy but not undercooked veg. They were happy to provide a smaller portion for a smaller appetite too.
This is a lovely village pub and resturant. Lots of outside tables to chill out on after a hard day's work or have a family meeting or meal. It nice to meet the owner as this was my first visit. Lots of parking as well..
A decent enough pub for drinking. Guinness & Aspell cider on tap. Nice beer garden at the back which is an evening suntrap. Opens at 6.30pm & shuts at 9.30pm on a Thursday, not sure about the rest of the week.
Lovely and cosy pub with very good food and moderately priced. We really enjoyed our meal here!
We took a walk along the footpaths through the fields and stopped for a drink. A lucky coincidence there is live Jazz on the first Sunday of the month. I think starting at 5pm. We had a lovely time. If you go just for the music, I'd check first in case that changes! Also, food on Sunday is 12-4pm only. It's improved since the last time I went a year or 2 back.
