Sarah Hughes brewery on site Strong black country beer plus a guest ale. Very comfortable pub which makes you feel like you've stepped back in time . Lovely staff
Proper traditional Black Country pub, friendly regulars made us feel welcome. Sarah Hughes beer is fantastic and very reasonable priced. Plenty of comfortable warm seating areas inside the pub and also a beer garden for the better weather. Absolute top class pub with a bus stop right outside if you have to travel here or if driving a very large car park to the side of the pub.
Great old brewery and pub, full of character and home brewed ales. Separate rooms where a nice ambience accompanied the delicious Sarah Hughes Mild ale, and the Sedgley Surprise, both excellent, as well as the refreshing Amber.
Absolutely legendary Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild fresh on cask. Delicious malty and well worth the detour to get here. Cheese and onion cob and a comfy seat in the fab smoking room. Had a chat with a friendly local. Perfect.
What a brilliantly dated throw back to times past. The ales are brewed onsite and are awesome. SARAH HUGHES ales. There are also a few ciders as well as other drinks available from 1 of three serving hatches that you will have to bend down to order from. There are also guest Ales as well as other drinks available. There are a few rooms to be seated in as well as a large outside area too. All offering a glimpse into decor of years gone by. The inside of this amazing pub needs to be seen to be believed, looking from the outside it you ain't gonna believe what will behold you on the inside. Absolutely an ale drinkers paradise and should also be visited by anyone who enjoys a great old fashioned pub. Highly highly recommended to all.
