The Bay Mare retains some of its historic layout with a small snug at the front and a separate room at the back now used mainly for pool. The pub has a friendly welcoming local feel. With a gas fire to the front of the bar, televisions showing live sports, a pool table and darts board, fruit machines and jukebox, we have something for everyone. For those who like enjoying the sun, to the back of our beer garden we have a few benches and for those only nipping outside we have a smoking shelter just past the back door. As well as the snug and pool room, the pub also has a vault to the side of the bar, and the main room in the centre.
