Dr. Jive has been playing in the Manchester scene now for years. A vinyl focused DJ who has a very eclectic taste which stretches from reggae to jazz to funk to soul to blues to electronica.
He was the head programmer at Escape to Freight Island so it is a part of his job to keep his ear to the ground for new upcoming artists - now he is the event programmer at Canvas Manchester. Furthermore, he is the director of Green Island Festival - a grassroots live music festival which aims to promote the amazing talent Manchester has to offer!
