Brilliant pub, so welcoming. The landlord made us feel at home, and gave us travel ideas. The food was great value and the burgers come from the local farm. Will be back when in the area again.
A quaint country pub with an old-fashioned feel, fantastic pub grub at a very reasonable price and friendly service. The owners have done their best to make sure COVID 19 policies have been followed and have a good system in place. Take away food is a great option including a take away Sunday roast.
Great old fashion pub. The food is top class. Had Sunday lunch 100 per cent recommend. Thursday is fish and chip night and this once again was great in fact the best I have ever had. The 2 landlords are also extremely friendly and welcoming. Will use again and thoroughly recommend.

A fine 400-year- old timber-framed building, with a more modern frontage, recently rescued from decay and closure under Pubco ownership. It has been renovated with a central bar and bare wood floor. Pool table at the rear.
