Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. You will never have to wait to get a pool or snooker table, and the condition of the baize is kept up to date. The only thing letting it down, in my opinion, is the food . But who goes to a sports bar to eat? Great if you just want a game and a quick snack.
“Our kitchen is closed” was the message at 6 in the evening, with no reason given. Actually the menu has a total of about 3 or 4 different choices, so they may as well have their kitchen closed all the time. I did have some good food here about a year before when I think the menu was a little better. But found it quite cold, damp and tacky. Definitely the first ‘Sports Bar’ I’ve been to that don’t really serve any food. Well, at least it’s got pool tables.
Nice lounge and pool room. It was cold and never got any warmer in the hour and a bit we were there!! We eventually left for the bar a few doors down for a heat.
Great place. Friendly staff. Good prices!
