Backwell Village Club was founded in 1887 as Backwell Reading Rooms for those men of the village who wished to read the comparatively expensive journals of the day. It has evolved over the years and we moved into our current premises in 1967. We are now a social club and welcome membership applications from over 18’s in Backwell and the surrounding area.
It's always a good welcome here. Lovely staff and well-kept beers.
Very good place, can play pool and snooker 🎱
Great village club, cheap drinks, pool, snooker, darts, skittles and Sky Sports etc. I visited on a Sunday evening - lovely atmosphere and great bar service!
Friendly staff, great pies and the best pool table I've played on in a long time. Well worth the membership fees - cheers!
Very friendly with cheap drinks, two excellent snooker tables at just 50p a game, pool table, skittles alley and function room.
