I bumped this down to a 4... Really I should go with 5. Twas looking for a game of pool because I missed someone all of a sudden. Nice place and everyone was very friendly. But no joy with the pool game. I think I might take the walk this way again. I think I'll take my friend. Good place to stop after the park...
This has always been a nice little place to go with the mates for a pint. The drinks are competitively priced. There are plenty of regulars down there that are a laugh to get on with. Guys serving the drinks are always really happy and chatty. If you want a proper laugh with your mates take a trip down here.
Great place to be. Friendly people, staff and patrons. Dogs are welcome. I took my Jackie with me and she spent all night playing with landlords dog. Recommended to anyone who would like a drink without a knob starting trouble.
Spit and sawdust pub with a great atmosphere and good for value drinks. Can get cans of thatchers and natch there. Outdoor garden is nice there as well.
