Nice pub decent car park and it's on the cycle path They have otter beer on tap and it's cosy. It was quiet on a weeknight, but had enough people in to create an atmosphere.
Always a lovely place to do in for a beer and a bite to eat. You can be sure of a warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. Great focal point location for multiple local walks.
Really great Sunday Lunch midway through a five mile hike around the area. Great food with the option of gluten free gravy and cauliflower cheese. Didn't have dessert as we still had three miles to go!
Amazing food. I eat out a lot and this has topped any I've been to in a very long time. To start the staff were all really friendly and efficient, the chef made an appearance which was appreciated, to see who is cooking for you. Also he plans his own menus. Calamari starter and a lamb and mint burger with bacon and mozzarella were to die for. Very reasonable price to. If I lives closer I would 100% be a regular to this pub.
Delicious supper. My friend also enjoyed hers. The house wine was one of the most delectable house wines I,ve ever had. Beautiful interior and not too swanky as some pubs are now. Really decent staff too. Great night.
