Great local pub. Friendly staff. Good atmosphere. Nice beer garden. Clean toilets. Kids friendly. Not sure if dog friendly. No food served. Can be very busy on the weekend. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back.

The Acorn is a traditional English pub. Great staff and locals make it an enjoyable place have a drink and conversation without too much noise. No food though.
Lovely little pub, a real find! We stumbled across it after visiting the area for Screamfest. We were made to feel very welcome, such lovely, lovely people. We will make sure to visit again if ever we are in the area.
