Love it. Not sure why so many negative reviews. It is what it is. Yes it's for locals but I'm not local and was welcomed without fuss. Maybe the furniture could do with updating but apart from that no issues. Happily return.
Had a horrible night the server was very rude and made my husband cry, I think his name was Richard. Awful night won't be coming back
Evening spent with friends. A bit noisy for me but still a good time
Dropped in at a quiet time late afternoon to have a quick beer on one of the hottest days of the year. Got an equally warm welcome from the friendly landlord. Individual style and some old posters and photograph tell a little of the history of this interesting place. Given a complete makeover 1928 by Brighton architect Denman it had been a pub for long before. Pre Covid I understand that they've had music some nights and the landlord hopes as things open up more this can happen again. Also a few tables outside to enjoy your drinks
The brewers arms ls a place u like or u don't it's a proper old school pup and good crowd of decent people drink in there .the landlord is trying his hardest to come up with new ideas to turn the place round slowly he is getting there he knows the things what need doing and he's trying his hardest to get there my advice would b pop in give it a try good company and good laugh
