Great little pub be back next week for another gallon at the right price landlord spot on and takes no prisoners
Two Americans walk into a pub in a small town…. My traveling partner and I enjoy beer… So of course we wanted to see the home of Samuel Smith while we were nearby. We took the bus out from York. We were glad to see this pub was open. It was about 3pm. Beer was fabulous, The men that were in there were friendly (I think) lol. I think they were a little surprised to have strangers from America drop in. It was very local . it was difficult at times to understand their English, we just mainly behaved ourselves and drank a few beers. We got a little bit of local information about the brewery and things about pub ownership and management etc. Which is very different from the United States. The beer was extremely delicious! The atmosphere unique and I would definitely stop by again if I was in that area. Absolute gentleman running it.
Groovy little pub with a buzzing atmosphere. While I was stood at the bar, one of the locals appeared with a pint glass full of excrement and asked the barman to top it up. The barman happily obliged.
Quaint little taddy pub nice beer garden considering the size of it.outdoor looks kept clean too.i always call when going to taddy
Very quaint small pub. A very good pint of Sam Smiths bitter and a Taddy Lager for just £4.30p and all the while just straight across from the John Smiths Brewery, but less said about that the better 😎

Old Coaching inn in the centre of town and next to the Samuel Smith Brewery, making it the brewery tap. Large wood-panelled interior with two huge log fires in winter
