Lovely traditional pub with restaurant and great food 👍
We booked a table in the evening after a day at paultons park. We didn't have any problems getting a table on a Friday night and service was quick and friendly. The food was excellent, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The only criticism I would make would be that the food prices were a little high, especially for a pub away from other attractions.
Enjoyed a lovely, very English, pub meal with our Aussie rels. Food and service were excellent. Very relaxed atmosphere and our dog was made as welcome as we were. Thank you very much everyone.
Great Sunday lunch experience. Characterful building, friendly staff and Sunday menu has a good variety including an excellent roast.
Pretty much ‘spot on’. This visit was on a Friday lunchtime, not particularly busy. Very efficient and experienced staff in charge. High quality menu offerings…much greater variety to chose from than the norm ‘standard pub grub’. Very prompt service, very tasty, my choice liver and bacon (chose what you don’t get at home 🏡😂). Strong 💪 recommendation 👍.
