What a lovely place. Lovely friendly staff when we visited today at noon, just seemed to be 2 chaps working out front and they were working really hard, checking on customers, cleaning tables, serving food, tending bar etc We had a combo starter and a couple of mains, all good food. Value for money and nicely cooked. There is a pool table and good parking.
Excellent roast dinners 2 for £15.49 great value Sunday special 👍 also we all had dinner at the sloop on Christmas day and I must give them 10 out of 10 what a lovely dinner and the staff was amazing thanks everyone see you next year 👏👏

Felt like I needed to leave a review having not done so in the past, I've eaten at the sloop way over 100 times by now, it's great value for money and very accommodating, their deals on food are always great, the staff are all top notch and the experience overall is more often than not a 10/10, Over the years the food has been great but more recently its become even better, sometimes mistakes are made within the industry but the staff are quick to help and rectify any problem, The Sloop Inn is my family's go to for food and we eat there quite often and there's never an issue, really friendly,well run pub and restaurant. The meal in the photo is built by myself upon ordering 2 meals, however there is a meal you can get that is very similar but with a beef burger and chicken wings instead of onion rings. I love coming to the sloop. The food is great value. Most recently, we did the BOGOF burgers which is amazingly priced. Great service at the bar, they repeated their order back to me which is always a freak reminder I don't forget anyone. The atmosphere is lively at the Sloop - you hear it her families, but it's never a bother as they can hear mine. Great choice, selection and service.
Food was better than expected, pleasantly suprised. Decent restaurant and facilities. Food arrived quickly and staff were friendly. A few flies around in the restaurant seating area but overall a positive experience.
