Welcoming old coaching house pleasantly situated in village square, heavy beams and painted panelling, mixed tables and chairs on carpet, roaring log fire at one end, good inventive food from daily changing blackboard menu.

Hello, since 2007 we've owned and run The Castle Inn. The Inn itself dates back to at least 1566 so we're proud to be playing a small part in its history whilst hopefully moving the tradition of inn keeping forward.

The Fleece Inn has been providing a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike since the 15th century. You can still find many of the original features of this charming old building;

Situated close to the town centre and decorated to a high standard, but retaining its original timber frame, wood panelling and doors.

A classic flint Norfolk town pub. The management team at the Albion revitalised the pub a few years ago. Its Greene King refurbished interior has been adapted with wherry themed tables giving a comfortable space to drink.
