The landlord of the Bryn Arms very kindly served 5 wet and weary cyclists on our journey from Llandudno to Dolgelneau a wonderful meal on Friday 29 June 2012. Advertised hours for food was 12.30-14.30. He opened the kitchen at 15.00 and made us very welcome

From the moment you walk in you are made to feel welcome. The wood burner adds brilliant coziness, the beer's good and reasonably priced. It is such a shame that great traditional pubs like this one are closing down across our fair land. Let's hope this one stays the way it is.

This is a fantastic pub. It's extremely well run, with no nonsense tolerated by the Landlord. Everyone who drinks there makes any newcomers feel welcome. There are various theme nights such as Halloween and HMS Pickles night (look it up on the net and you'll understand why:) The food is home cooked by the Landlady and Landlord and is superb.
Once you've been for a drink here, you'll be back!

A warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes you to Plymouths best pint of Tribute. This is a fantastic pub where everyone is made to feel welcome. "Come as a guest, leave as a friend" is the ethos of the landlord and landlady and from walking in you are greeted with a tapas and a very well maintained drinks selection.
The pint of Tribute is fantastic and this bar is a hidden gem in Plymouths crown.

The food is very good value and all homemade. I can highly recommend the Sunday roast! All fresh veg, homemade Yorkshire puds and beautifully presented. They offer a gluten free roast/ menu and nothing is too much trouble. Felt very welcome and it's a lovely family pub with a south facing beer garden. All the staff are very friendly and will do their best to accommodate your needs.

Pub is rank, shut down by the environmental health for poor liquid handling and dirty food and cutlery. Pies were nice for some reason.
