Useyourlocal.com & Samsung team up to launch mobile phone application

Building on the success of samsungfootball.co.uk - the website that shows people where they can watch televised football in pubs and clubs - Samsung & Useyourlocal.com have today announced that they have built a mobile phone application which enables consumers to identify outlets showing the Big Match even when they're on the move.

The application will be embedded in hundreds of thousands of Samsung mobile handsets in the UK from the end of January - with Android and iPhone apps launching later this year.

As part of this ground-breaking development, Useyourlocal.com is offering pubs the chance to promote the TV channels they show free of charge until 31st January 2010.

To take advantage of this offer, licensees need follow three simple steps:

2. Find local pub
3. Let us know what channels they show by simply ticking the relevant boxes for Freeview, Sky and ESPN on their homepage
