While the Horse & Groom is still very much “the village pub”, we really want to offer a great welcome to everyone who visits us and hope you enjoy your tour around our home and we look forward to meeting you in person.
We are proud of our beer and offer a choice of six different real ales, two of which will always be from local brewers
We are not a “Pub Restaurant” or “Gastro Pub”, we are a traditional village pub that serves honest home-made food. We do not do fussy garnishes, mislead you with flowery menu descriptions our try to offer a huge range fresh from the freezer.

Been in tonight and its like roll back the clock 7 years! Wishing the new management all the best in bringing this place back to how it used to be. Well they have made a wellcoming good start👍👍👍👍👍👍
Delicious food and nice staffs, sure will come again
Food was nice. Very generous portions and looks like someone genuinely cares about their menu. Albeit it took a long time to come out. The staff on the other hand, miserable. The older woman was just plain rude. The young girl serving had zero customer service skills. It was a shame as it was our first time.
We have been lots of times for meals, but the food has massively improved recently. We have tried different dishes off the menu and its always really tasty and loverly. Staff always friendly and prices very reasonable too.
Haven't been here for years, however still a lovely pub, with extensive outdoor seating and function room. Loads of ales and spirits. Sat outside in the 🌞 enjoying a pint of Theakstones. Nice. Returned in winter and they had a great log burner on the go warming the bar and function rooms. Toasty.🥵
