The building housing the former Wellington Brasserie, close to New Milton rail station, was created from the conjunction of two terraced houses. The interior is divided into a bar, with much brickwork on view, and a cosy and comfortably furnished lounge. Entertainment includes pool, darts and television, and there is live music on Saturday evenings. The food offering leans towards sandwiches and variations on a theme of burger and chips.

Great place to have a drink, nice people and great staff. Often events such as darts competitions or karaoke. Highly recommended. Traditional pub. Nice!!

Staff here are truly delightful. I have lived here for 6 years nearly 7, and have never felt so welcome in a pub. The Landlord is a wonderful guy, and since he took this place over my wife and I won't drink elsewhere. He is truly invested in his customers and nothing is too much of a burden. The drink here like the glasses and environment is clean, and prices are very reasonable. Good selection of snacks, wines, draft, larger cider, gins and other spirits. If you are looking for a place to drink with a friendly atmosphere I would encourage you to give this place a try.
Amazing little find and my new local. Not only do they sell the cheapest pint in town it's also a great pint. Company there is varied - by all accounts it used to have a dodgy rep for being rough - couldn't be further from the truth now. The manager - a simply fabulous chap from Portugal has done a great job of turning it around. The staff are amazing and if you really want to see the guy in the waistcoat smile ask him to make a really complicated cocktail. Don't take my word for it - Go on pop in - you know you want to 😜
