Went the plough today 1st February and Katie was on service, what a lovely young lady treated us like long lost friends top notch service and the food was out of this world I had the lasagne plenty to eat and it was truly amazing as was the wonderful salad and perfect garlic bread. My husband George had the fish pie which he enjoyed and there was plenty to eat, as I said before service was second to none all the staff were lovely but Katie was exceptional thanks once again for a wonderful experience

Cheeky last minute Saturday lunch. Googled local to us, but fancied a change. This place ranked high so went for it. Not disappointed. Took a chance and didn't book. Seated by staff. Atmosphere pleasant with plenty of other customers and background chatter. Looked after by a lady who called us both 'Lovely' 🥰. Attentive and efficient, without being over the top or pushy. Our food arrived hot and quick and delicious....posh scampi, Swedish meatballs & a side of fries. All yummy. Will definitely return, perhaps in the summer for a round of crazy golf too.

Been here a few times now. It's great! Had a fabulous meal for my birthday on New Years Eve. Between us, we ate probably a bit too much, but every part of the meal was delicious, was made from fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The venison was amazing. The small platters are really quite large. The meatballs were my favourite, closely followed by the pulled pork on flat bread. Chocolate cheesecake... love it or hate it I suppose .. I loved it; really creamy and rich, with a scoop of delicious vanilla ice cream. The staff were all kept busy but managed to keep their smiles the whole time. I noticed a great daytime offer whilst we were there and will definitely be returning soon to try that 😀 Thanks for a great time 🥂🎂 and another delicious meal.

Stopped off here after driving past many times, and really pleased we did. They are dog friendly which is a great bonus too as our pup liked it here too. The service was really nice and we had great fish and chips and the pup had sausage which went down a real treat. Was well worth the visit and will be back.

Lovely roast in the snug with our pup. Dog & child friendly. Busy restaurant and pub area with a great service, food is home cooked but no long waits. Wish I’d taken a photo of my roast but that thought disappeared once I saw my food 😍 and the apple crumble was yum.
