“Overall it is no doubt the staff make the Farmers Arms a place where you feel relaxed and welcomed. The Chef is very good and should be recognised more for his standard of cooking the specials on the board the hake was great as was the braised lamb. Our room smelt of damp never a nice smell and some how the whole place needs aerating better, removing old smells. Most Windows seem locked !! This would've be fit the whole ambiance if this could be resolved. The place was clean. Breakfast good though some fruit would be a nice extra. Would we go back probably yes because of the young but capable staff and the comfortable bed.”
