    — The service is terrible the place stinks, the beer is far to over priced considering my glass had debris floating in it and finger pints all over it. I will never go there again

    — After a £400k upgrade I was looking forward to my meal tonight. First impression on decor, very nice. Menu is typical of a chain. My wife had burger and sweet potato fries. The fries were really not good at all, we commented on this. No problems at all they said and duly apologised and we will take it off the bill. The bill duly arrived, nothing deducted, we asked about this and was advised that they had deducted the premium from sweet potato fries compared to normal fries - 70 pence!!! I challenged this and manager said that is all she could discount. Really unsatisfactory with our treatment and much as I like to support local pubs, this is not the way to encourage the development of a customer base, I will not be going back.
