Had a relatives wake at the venue. They were very hospitable. It was a lovely atmosphere for family and friends to gather to pay their final respects and to reminisce on good time. They did a spreed of food which was really lovely.

Went to the stag for a private event. 1st time I had been. We were outside the area was very lovely, spacious and had a little play area for kids to keep them busy. I didn't eat from there but the service from staff whilst getting drinks was great. Toilet facilities were clean and smelled pleasant

The food we had was very tasty & reasonably priced! 3 had steak & chips & 1 chicken legs and chips. All the plates were enough and the chicken more than enough with just the right amount of spicy kick. The mains were followed by sticky toffee & ginger pudding. It was not your traditional stp but the large sponge was still tasty and really enjoyable. Only real criticism would be the small amount of custard or ice cream that came with the pud. And I really must remember to take photos!!

Nice place with a good country pub atmosphere. Menu was fairly predictable, nothing wrong in that, the food was hot and as expected. A lot of local people seemed to be eating there so tells a story.

Visited: Saturday 11/6/2022, 16:00 to 18:00 Pros Good size portions (burger and nachos, see photos) Tasty and well cooked Nice garden (children can run around and there is a wooden house with a slide) Reasonable prices (see photos for menu prices) Cons If there are many children it might be noisy in the garden (but this is a personal preference)
