Low stone built pub where you can actually see the sea (on a very clear day). Low ceilings, timber beamed long room with U shaped bar serving the three main areas. The back room has a large screen TV and the room to the left, which leads to a seperate dining area has a log fireplace.

The Sea View has been with the same family for many years. No wonder it continues to maintain such an excellent reputation. Food made on the premises and it shows with the high quality. Never had an individual meat pie quite like the ones served yesterday. Top notch! Lee Thompson heads up a great team with nothing left to chance when it comes to service. Always willing to discuss, agree, and implement any special arrangements. Only downside we found was that when requesting water for the table, it was served in plastic cups/glasses. Just didn't fit in with everything else which was impeccable.
Visited today to celebrate a friend’s baby shower. Very accommodating, well looked after, great food and friendly atmosphere. Lee and the team looked after us during the run up to the celebration and throughout checking we had everything we needed. The function room was perfect for the occasion and looked beautiful with the decorations we were allowed to put up. Vegetarian and vegan friendly. People highly recommended the meat dishes as well … especially the pies. Thank you very much for providing a perfect afternoon.
Excellent food, friendly and efficient service. Ordered blue sirloin and it was cooked to perfection and piping hot. Partner had the mixed grill, excellent value for money and all very well seasoned. So many places just put a bland chicken breast on the plate but the chicken here was lovely. All veg crunchy and fresh, chips chunky and delicious too. Nice range of drinks, cosy atmosphere with both dining room and bar area available. Bonus points for the lovely dogs sitting in the bar!
We had a lovely evening meal here, the service was good and the food was excellent value for money. There was a good selection of beers, wines and spirits as well as soft drinks and hot beverages. The menu is not large but there is a good variety of food to suit most people.
Recently moved to Chorley and we've tried many local eateries.... The Sea View is our favourite! Lee and his staff are pleasant, helpful and attentive. The food is always perfectly cooked and delicious. The Sunday Roast is a real delight.
