The Railway Inn is a family friendly outlet with a beer garden. They have plenty to keep you entertained with a Quiz Night on a Sunday Jam and oopen mic nights on a Wednesday and Karaoke on a Friday.

Love it, a proper pub. Good selection of beers at a decent price, football on the TV and dog laid asleep on the floor. Friendly locals and people calling in for a drink before or after a train journey!
Brilliant pub just outside the station, 5 ales are served, a deposit scheme is in place,your plastic glass will cost an extra £2 when returned to the bar.
Always been a nice pub over the years handy for the station traditional building, interior has always been a bit on the hard side and little seating upstairs, could easily be made warmer with better furniture etc but staff polite and there's another bar downstairs .
Went Newton Monday night for food and drinks. After every pub we went in getting are drinks wrong or not good. We stopped in here while we waited for the train. Drinks perfect and the barmaid was lovely. Should have gone here from the beginning. Definitely recommend.
