We live near the York Sports Club. Shortly after the pandemic, at the end of an afternoon stroll along the ings, we sat at a table outside and used the QR code to order two teas and two teacakes. We waited at the table for half an hour, but nothing came. We couldn’t be bothered going inside to ask “where are our teas and teacakes?” so we left. Overall, an extraordinary experience. I now spend the occasional Sunday morning fabricating letters of complaint to the City of York Council from various disgruntled neighbours about parking, drunken behaviour, noise etc.

Very good venue for fundraising event. Bar, food and staff first class. The only downside was not enough car parking.

There are a wide range of sports available and as a squash player the courts are very good. Especially the glassback one. Also the squash members are friendly and up for a game.

Fantastic warm welcoming place to watch sport... chill out and have a few cold beers.. excellent pizzas too.. staff are great as nothing is too much to ask..

Another on a trip to York for Cask Marque establishments. I wasn’t sure if was a public bar so I was happy to find it is just that. Certificate on display and a cracking pint of Fresh Legs ale.
