We went to the York inn for an evening meal after hearing lots of good reviews and they were spot on :) really friendly welcoming country pub serving excellent traditional pub food:). I had a Surf and Turf which was great, perfectly cooked steak and in all a great plate of food, finished off with some apple and cinnamon donuts which were absolute filth……. In the best possible way. We’ll definitely be going back because the pies looked amazing too.
The best Pie we have ever eaten!!! Fish and chips were brilliant, specials board options were brilliant. All round perfect place for food! The staff are so friendly and helpful. And all dishes were cooked to perfection. Children's menu was superb and reasonably priced. Recommended.
A huge thanks to all the staff, for their Excellent Service and organisation of our very large family lunch yesterday. We were welcomed and made to feel at home despite taking over the entire Pub. Thanks again for the fantastic food, especially the Chocolate Brownie.
We visited on the 23rd of October for my birthday. We had such a lovely time, 2 and a half people. The place is super lovely with nice designs. It wasn't very busy but still, we had to park a bit further. We had starters then main. Good prices and the food was amazing! Will come again!
Great food, great beer, great service! What more could you want? Good traditional pub grub, something for everyone on the menu. I had the fish + chips, it was a decent plateful and tasted great. Will come again for sure! 🍻
