Visited on a Saturday afternoon with my friends, fantastic friendly service. Lovely, tasty food. Quaint country pub, we will definitely be returning.
Popped in because it was close to where we were staying. I wish this this could be my local. Amazing staff, great beer and a fantastic atmosphere. Now to the food. Just incredible. Words do mot cover how good the food was. Ate here both nights of our stay. People really need to know about this.
Love finding these old country pubs, hidden away but obviously looked after. Good selection of beers and good food menu. Lovely old beams and pleasant garden with plenty of seating indoors and out. Friendly staff.
Had an excellent lunch here (once again) with a group of friends recently. It was all absolutely delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. The menu has an excellent selection of dishes, something for everyone and never disappoints. Daily specials too, which included moules mariniere plus they do a good range of tapas! Our choices included fish and chips, beef brisket and one friend had her favourite of halloumi fries. Friendly, helpful staff. No doubt we'll be back as soon as we can arrange it!
enjoyed a good dinner of steak and kidney suet pudding, and braised lamb shoulder. finished off with a syrup sponge and vanilla custard. exceptionally friendly and welcoming service, cosy atmosphere
