Small community local on a side-street, just off the centre of Burslem and directly opposite the keg-only Huntsman.
A central bar divides the single room into separate areas and there is a small smoking shelter to the rear. Very much a Port Vale Supporters pub, it is home fans only on match days; there is a spacious beer patio to the rear of the pub and a pool table behind the bar.

Bad snowy weather at the end of the night. But the bar staff looked after us with plastic bin bags to cover us from the snow. Polite and professional staff

If you like real ale at a good price then it's a must to pop in here. Lovely friendly staff serving a great pint. All for as I say a really good price. Ps a really good selection of largers as well.
