The food is really good for the price. The service is amazing (especially amiee and eden) and I will definitely recommend the place to my friends.

Did not go for a meal, just a drink, so no comment on the food. Great traditional put, well-kept beer, good staff. Fire place, all the atmosphere you want from a good pub.

I came in for a coffee, ordered an americano which turned out to be granulated cheap stuff. I was charged £2:20. Ordered a chicken bacon club bloomer, bread was basic toast bread, not a fresh bloomer, small handful of fries. £11:50. Feel ripped off, won't be coming again. Think if the quality of products are reduced so should the price. The staff were nice, the place was nice and clean but the quality and price of the food and beverage left me disappointed and I don't usually complain.

Got the seafood risotto and it was quite bland but edible nevertheless. The salt and pepper squid changed and it’s basically calimari now. Loved the loaded fries. Would definitely get it again. The staff was extremely friendly which really made the experience. Food came out efficiently.

The staff and the environment were nice but the food was appalling. I ordered a chicken salad at a normal price of £11.95, not especially cheap. Couldn’t believe my eyes when it finally arrived. The portion of the salad was unbelievably small, with only a few leaves of rockets. This portion of vegetables is less than a side dish. Are vegetables that expensive? Why can't they serve a decent size of food to customers? Talking about the chicken, the meat was so dry and stringy that I had to stop after a few bites. My husband’s fish and chips was not much better. The batter was very oily and he said that’s the worst he’d ever eaten in Canterbury. When such quality of food is served, plus very slow service, no wonder there are barely any other customers even at lunch hours.
