Wyvern Tavern is located in the centre of Swindon’s main shopping district and a long established venue with in the downtown area of Swindon. In the daytime shoppers and families pop in to recharge their batteries with a great food menu, which is available everyday until 9pm.
We are Swindon's number 1 sporting venue with 9 plasma screens and 2 big screens and plenty of areas to reserve and book for those all important games. Comfy little booths or sofas to relax on we have something for everyone no matter what time of the day or night.

The food and service were very impressive, The atmosphere was okay and noisy at times considering it was a Saturday afternoon and the man city game was on. Would definitely recommend.
Thank you for your apology i guess you can have bad days to. Never had a problem with you service before that why i gave a 5 star rating before have normaly always had good food and service but rated 3 this time because you apologize and yes maybe in the future this rating can work it's way back up to 5 star as your pricing for food is very good to. Once again thank you for your apology will hopefully pop in again with my partner and have a better experience next time.
We only stopped by for drinks, so we can not vouch for the food. The staff were very friendly, it was busy early due to a sporting event being shown. The Tavern was clean and tidy. Toilets Accessible toilets require a radar key. This was also clean and well presented. Plenty of tables and chairs, including a few out the front.
Great food at great value especially with their weekend deal for 5 small plates. Better prices than Wetherspoons and actually fresh! Great prices on drinks and one of the few places in Swindon you can get a Lilley's Cider. Friendly hard working staff.
Came here because the weatherspoons wasn't serving so gave it a try. but portions left me still hungry, really disappointing, had the fish and chips but it was like a child portion with about 8 chips. Didn't see a children's menu but may have been one. Real shame because the reason people eat in these establishments is because of the generous portions but unfortunately I didn't feel it was value for money! Great staff though and nice decor.
