Came in for night out with bunch of my friend. We ordered big round was served by a young lad called Haydn and was served with such quick service he was really professional and also had some banter with us whilst serving us very polite and always has a smile on his face. Will defiantly be back best bar staff member by far
An awesome venue as always. Very welcoming and friendly staff, a wicked atmosphere too albeit I'd like to mention that Hayden has done an outstanding job in serving me. All my drinks from Hayden have been poured proportionately. Hayden has always been polite and social towards myself, my friends and other customers with a welcoming smile when approaching the bar. Keep it up!
Last night went out to have a nice evening and was greeted with a warm welcome from the bar staff which I believe was named Hayden and Zoe both were so helpful and took my order quickly was so friendly and gave amazing customer service which made me decide to stay for a whilst in there enjoying the music and the amazing deals that were on for drinks especially on a Saturday night. Both members of staff were friendly great to chat to whilst prepping my order and completed my order quickly to an amazing standard definitely will be going back again !!
Saturday Night Mayhem. As other reviewers have stated, the bouncers they employ at Yates through Regency Security seem to enjoy provoking situations and causing trouble rather than calming and defusing situations. As with my friendship group, I am a very calm individual who would never cause a problem. Sadly, our female friend was assaulted by another customer, and our female friend used a small amount of self-defence (rightly so) to stop the customer from their actions. The bouncers instead thought it was a good idea to call the police and accuse her of assault of using self-defence because of the bouncer's in-action and failure to listen. The aggressive bouncer decided to citizens arrest the victim in this situation. As you can imagine, this was an extremely upsetting experience after what they experienced to deal with what happened next. The police had to do their job from the aggressive, incorrect information provided by the bouncers. It was apparent they knew that our friendship group were not trying to cause trouble. They dealt with the proceeding situation professionally and provided us with steps to take next to deal with the experience we encountered. Luckily an individual outside our friendship group witnessed the situation and refused to enter the venue after seeing what happened in our case. There seemed to be a strange atmosphere at the entrance, provoking customers. Other venues we experienced later in the evening were calm, approachable and professional—a contrast to Yates.
Lovely bright and open venue with various seating areas. Toilets located upstairs and ladies toilets clean. Great deals on both food and drink, although we didn't eat here. Their current daily deal of £5 for a Cocktail Pitcher/Jug was amazing... such a great value. Also plug Sockets located in places to charge your phone. Worth a visit.
