The pub has 7 50inch plasmas and 10ft and 6ft screens. With plenty of sectioned seating we make an ideal location for all Sky Sports, BT Sports and UK Racing televised events. We can also split sound meaning multiple events showed!
A big open venue with the ability to watch a screen from every seat we ensure that along with our efficient service, we are the perfect place to watch all live sports.
During the day, we offer an easy-going and relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy food and drink. By night, Yates transforms into one of the busiest bars in town, offering a variety of nights out, Revolver Monday's to open-mic Thursday and Pre Blue Wednesday.
As one of the biggest party venues on a Friday and Saturday night, we welcome all parties, from hen nights to birthdays and are willing to cater for any occasion with cause for celebration.

4 of us wanted the mixed grill. No meat. Then 2 of us wanted the chip shop platter. They had none of those either. This was Saturday lunch time. This is not the first time this has happened.
Went in for some lunch and a drink. The first pint was awful but the waitress did replace it. Ordered 3 lunches, and one was wrong. Food was nice but nothing special. Waitress was ok , a smile would of been nice. Ended up paying more for food and drink because wasn't told about the lunch deal. Maybe on a different day things would of been better.
I have coeliac disease (like a gluten allergy for those who don’t know) so normally I would steer clear of pubs- but the staff at Yates have been phenomenal! They understand cross contamination, and have even sourced off-menu items so that I can still join in with my uni society Christmas meal! It really means the world to meet such friendly staff who go over and above to ensure the safety and happiness of their customers 😊
“Very nice sized” pub / bar. Everything you need under one roof. Just over the way from Royal wells coach stop, handy. Darren, Angie, Leo, Jamie and team most certainly made us feel welcome during our visit to this regency town
Visited here with a friend for food and drink . Opted for a pepperoni pizza and my friend had a beefburger and fries. Good value menu and set in the heart of Cheltenham town serving a good variety of beverages Special mention to Jamie, Angie and the team
