The Yachtsman Pub/Dining (formerly Lugleys Restaurant) has undergone a full refurbishment and is now open for great food, ales, wine and more.
Located on The Parade, The Yachtsman has an enviable terrace with views over The Solent and beyond. An Idea venue for morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner or maybe a glass of wine or real ale watching the world go by! The Yachtsman offers great hospitality, food and drink. This freehouse pub truly is one of the great dining venues in Cowes.
With a large terrace and bi-folding doors opening the pub up to the outside world in the summer months this venue is must when visiting Cowes.
A beautiful house with everything we needed. Close to the shops and the sea. We would definitely stay there again.

Terrible food. Stale (really stale) bread and 3 times cooked chips in oil that I suspect was very very old...I really would not eat there again!!!!
I stayed at The Yachtsman whilst taking part in Cowes Classics Week and found this self catered accommodation was convenient both for the yacht clubs, marinas and of course the lively aprés sailing Cowes is so famous for. The brilliant Duke of York is only a few minutes stroll.
