We visited this establishment last Sunday 17/12/23 by chance not knowing the area and were so glad we did. The warm atmosphere as we walked in was inspiring. We were seated immediately and the Sunday lunch and dessert was amazing! (up there with the best) After the meal we had a chat with Marion not knowing she was the publican. We told her the experience was to savour and compliments to the chef, from which prompted her to bring her husband Steve (head cook and bottle washer) lol from the kitchen, who was also very friendly. So head on down to the Y Bedol folks you won’t be disappointed. Alan & Sue. Manchester.

My husband and I had been disappointed when the establishment we had planned to visit and have dinner was closed for a couple of days. We came across Y Bedol and decided to try it. This was the best decision we have made! The staff were so friendly and the food was fantastic in quality, quantity and value for money. Would certainly recommend Y Bedol to everyone.

Beautiful traditional country pub with outstanding views from the fabulous beer garden. Food is exceptional and very well priced. Good range of drinks from the bar with a fantastic kept cellar (the taste of the lagers and ales shows this). Sunday dinner is a must always piping hot and delicious. Portions are big and the meat is so tender with Yorkshire puds to die for. Fabulous choice of homemade desserts to finish. The pub may be old but the interior is up to date but in keeping with the character. Spotlessly clean and a very well kept beer garden with its very own stream. Traditonal coal fire roaring on the cold winter days. Staff are efficient and friendly and seem nothing is too much trouble. Dog friendly and the staff make such a fuss of them with bowls of water and a doggy treat. Highly recommended by locals aswel and you can see why.

Came to stay a night around the area to do some exploring on the next day around Wales. The owner of the place we stayed advised us to go eat here as it was late and it was the only close by place will serving food. friendly place, loved the food and the brownie with the custard was so good!
