The pub retains the feel of a traditional village local and is a hub for locals and visitors alike providing a warm welcome, a wealth of local information, hearty home cooked food and great cask ale.
Our spectacular rural views can now be enjoyed from our new campsite. This secluded field behind the pub is perfect for couples, small groups and solo walkers. We have toilet and shower facilities available 24 hours and the convenience of having a pub on your doorstep while retaining a wild camping feel. It is ideally located for walkers just off both the Pennine and Milleneum Ways and for tourists just a mile and a half from Haworth. In addition to our standard food service times we can provide packed lunches and breakfast by arrangement.
Lovely cosy old pub with roaring fires and good beer. Will definitely come back to have some food too in the future!
We called in to the Wuthering Heights pub for lunch on a stormy wet Sunday ,and were met with a warm welcome and roaring open fire , the food was home cooked very tasty and reasonably priced , the pub is also doggy friendly apart from the restaurant area , The pub was spotlessly, clean and tidy with a carpark and a beer garden with stunning views over the worth valley towards Oakworth , we can highly recommend this pub for a lovely meal or a stop off for a drink after a walk over Haworth moor.
Four of us had tea there last night. Absolutely cracking. Staff were lovely and welcoming, service was excellent and the food was really good. It came from the kitchen piping hot (I hate it when food is just warm, this food was anything but that so big thumbs up from me). Very generous portions and tasted delicious. Local customers were very friendly too and it's a really dog friendly pub so nice to meet everyone's pups! 😁. Would definitely go again. Thanks very much. Alistair.
It was hard for us to get served at the bar due to people stand around it. There were 6 of us in our group and 5 of us were disappointed with the food of the main course, being small portions and the steak and ale pie was very dry with little filling some of which was gristle . The owner seemed offhand when he asked " who's for pudding". Yo say we spend nearly £250 it was not the best experience there.
We had an amazing three nights staying in one of their glamping wagons, very cozy and the facilities were great. Comfy bed, the wood burner kept us nice and warm, shower was excellent and the view was beautiful! Short walk to Howarth, and close enough to take a long walk up to Brönte waterfalls/Top Withens to enjoy the moors. The pub itself is lovely with great beer selection, couldn't ask for anything better for an atmospheric stay in Brönte country.. can't wait to go back one day!

Popular village local befitting its name which also attracts those walking the Pennine Way or visiting the ruined farmhouse claimed to be 'Wuthering Heights'.

Hello and welcome to The Old Silent Inn. We have recently taken over the Old Silent and gone through a major refurbishment, mostly behind the scenes which people would not be likely to see.
