Just returned home from having one of the best Christmas Day Dinners I have ever experienced. The starters were delicious. The main course was cooked to perfection, if a little too much food for me personally. The staff were kind enough to box up the sweet that I had ordered. All the staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. I will be going again soon for further meals.
We called in after late night shopping. Not overly busy. Taken to our table. Ordered our food from a dirty sticky menu. Food came reasonable quick,after a long wait to order. Asked for a well done steak. Blood pulsing though it, so couldn't eat it. Peas not cooked either. How hard is it to cook peas. Chips dry as cardboard. Partners meal not much better. Couldn't speak to a member of staff as non about. Loud mouthed table of teachers using foul language with their pink wine didn't help either. So if you get chance to pop in... don't bother. A waste of 30 quid.

This was our 1st visit in a few months. We waited to be shown to our table at desk . 3 staff walked past us, and two were talking together, so they couldn't have been busy. We had to shout up to be seen and heard. Shown table and asked for a high chair. Waited for 5 minutes and asked the same chap who looked in charge again for the high chair. He did fetch it then. We ordered using an app that was easy to use. We got given our food, which came quickly enough as the restaurant was not busy. The waitress asked if we needed anything else. We asked for cutlery and sauce . No joke, she dropped cutlery onto a dirty table and put napkins next to them. The food was OK. Not great. We had 2 mixed grills and asked for medium rare. Both came medium well. No, I didn't complain whats the point in doing that. We would have to wait even longer for food and kids were eating their's already. You get what you pay for, and i suppose we'll give it another try when we are desperate for a cheap meal.
Been here before and its genrally pretty good, today however, the sun is out its a little busy,, had to find own table, ordered off the app, which was ok, got our drinks to the table, then the food turned up, no pkeasantries from the staff... We orderd two sunday roasts and a bowl of chips for the littlen. There was dried curry on the chips bowl, and we didnt get any gravy, had to walk arond to get some and then only one boat, the beef was good though,... Not a good visit on this occasion, but i know this pkace can do much better, come on wheres your great customer service gone?
