About us

Just fifteen minutes from Worcester city centre, The Flyford is a welcoming, award-winning country pub, serving stripped back rustic food, specialising in seafood. A lively bar is the first focal point of the venue, with a country kitchen style restaurant. Warm summer days and nights can be spent in our heated garden restaurant. We have recently purchased a traditional Spanish charcoal oven, so expect some exciting new dishes, grilled meat and fish.

With a real focus on quality and seasonal ingredients, The Flyford offers pub classics with a modern twist, with fresh, sustainable seafood specials direct from Flyin’ Fish in Cornwall. The Head Chef Stuart Pretty brings a wealth of experience, having previous tenures at the two AA Rosette South Sands Hotel in Salcombe, Belle House in Pershore, and Browns Restaurant in Worcester. Stuart has a very focused ethos on sustainable seafood, citing his food heroes as Rick Stein and Nathan Outlaw.

Head Chef Stuart draws on years of cookery experience serving laidback rustic cuisine with a restaurant twist. Stuart says: ‘Working with such high-quality seafood, makes us a real destination in Worcestershire’ Stuart further adds ‘ As well as delicious seafood, all our fruit and vegetables are grown locally by A.M Bailey, and our meat comes from The Butcheress in Bromsgrove, who farm a lot of their own animals and also Aubery Allen’

The contemporary, rustic-style restaurant and bar are headed up by our lovely team of dedicated front and back of house professionals. The restaurant offers an eclectic wine list, with old world favourites and some very exciting new world wines. Diners and drinkers can enjoy a modern cocktail collection, that has a real emphasis on seasonal ingredients and quality spirits. A fantastically kept cellar offers a wide range of Wye Valley ales and British and European lagers.

The Flyford is a relaxed dining space, that values good old fashioned service with a modern touch, backed by our extremely talented kitchen and recent national awards, I’m a firm believer that we are at the forefront of the Worcestershire pub dining scene.

Head Chef Stuart draws on years of cookery experience serving laidback rustic cuisine with a restaurant twist. He particularly enjoys The Flyford’s daily delivery of fresh lobsters and crabs and these feature on the main menu seasonally.

Went there for a meal early Dec, perfect, so booked their festive menu for Boxing day, chose a specific table but told could only have at 3.30, fair enough, so we turn up at 3.30 the table is being used, not pleased waitress said she was new it was her fault. Read the menu so no xmas dinner listed, when we asked why was told the festive menu had finished, extremely unhappy now, would have walked out if it hadn't been Boxing Day in case we couldn't find anywhere else, so had a pleasant enough everyday meal, but not the Xmas Dinner we were hoping for and looking forward to. To try to compensate they gave us the drinks free, we were very dissapointed as the visit in early December made us think we would be regular visitors, but we wouldn't give the Flyford our custom again, we wouldn't trust them

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this restaurant/pub and I wasn’t disappointed. Service was great, with friendly attentive staff and food was delicious. Will definitely be returning very soon. 👍

The customer service we experienced today was outstanding. We really enjoyed our food, the decor is amazing and the atmosphere so welcoming. Our first time and definitely not our last! 🤩

We've eaten twice at the Flyford in the last week and can't recommend it enough. The serving staff were absolutely excellent, and couldn't do enough for us. They were very friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent. Our party had the steak, the burger, fish pie, sausage and mash and the pie of the day. Everyone was happy with their meals. We particularly recommend the baked Camembert starter, which we all shared. Although it was November, the staff were happy for us to eat outside (which is not always the case in some pubs). The outside seating area was very comfortable and had a gas heater. There's plenty of room for eating outside, with picnic tables and a marquee. It's very easy to find the pub and it's a convenient location for those driving by on the M50 or M5.

Fantastic meal (as always!) at one of our favourite pubs. Special shout out to Tom, the newest member of the team. It was his first full shift and he was looking after us.... did an excellent job!
