This ancient inn is located halfway up Clifton hill and overlooks the stunning Teme Valley, Worcestershire. It has been with the Morley family for four generations dating back to 1964.
The pub has recently undergone a full refurbishment, whilst maintaining its original character. It offers a restaurant, lounge, bar and garden area from which to admire the views. The family and staff look forward to welcoming you to a warm and friendly atmosphere offering a fine selection of locally sourced food and drink.
Took my little Rainbows for their Christmas meal there, good food and service.
Great food, great atmosphere lovely all round pub. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended would definitely visit again
Have had many Sunday lunches here. The lamb is to die for and the beef & pork are just as melt-in-the-mouth. The veg is very good and all fresh (except the peas), though portions are small, and you pay extra for cauliflower-cheese. Lovely Yorkshire puds too. Dessert menu good but could do with revision. Will be there again this weekend
Can’t stress enough, how good the service is. Food is both fresh and good quality! Definitely recommend the mixed grill platter!
Wonderful Sunday lunch and the crumble was simply to die for. Great welcome and service. Frequently checking we were happy with our visit. The garden is very pleasant and the underground wasps nest fascinating to watch - from a distance! Hope you had a good 2 day break we very much look forward to supper tonight!
