Best Restuarant In Bewdley! (Plus best service 🎉) This is my favourite restaurant in bewdley! The staff are always friendly, they love having dogs and the pub is so cosy. I love how they have done up out the back as a beautiful outdoor dining space and with the heaters it's even great in winter! The reason it's my favourite is that there are healthier options on the menu as well as classics and usually something a bit different too. I have dietary requirements and I've never had a problem with that there, they do good vegan options etc. Food has always been high quality and the one and only time we had an issue (we've been there a lot!) the general manager Ed sorted it out straight away without any problems! He's served us a few times and he is always the friendliest one there, and makes you really feel welcome. Last time he even brought a treat for our dog! 10/10 service.
I’ve eaten at The Mug House twice now while visiting friends in the area. The first time was a year ago and I loved it. Second was today and I LOVED it! They gave my dog a bed to sit on during our meal which he loved. The pie was great, so was the atmosphere and service.
We had lunch here today the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We ordered drinks which arrived promptly and decided on the seafood sharing platter, my wife thought we needed a portion of chips so ordered them as well. The food arrived quickly and we were surprised at just how much there was and it was prepared to perfection. We really didn’t need the chips but I scoffed them anyway. The food and drinks were good value for money. And the fact it was dog friendly made it all the better. I would highly recommend the Mug House, going by our lunch today. If we visit Bewdley again we will definitely be eating here. Many thanks.
Absolutely fab stay. Surprise night away for my partner and couldn't have hoped for better. Lovely pub, restaurant....and great selection of food and drinks. Pub was busy but a friendly atmosphere. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning before departing. Highly recommend and will be returning again in the future.
Did not stay at the Mug House, just had an evening meal with friends. The service was excellent, felt very looked after. We had two courses, starter and main meal along with drinks. The food was very good and reasonably priced for the quality. The menu is so much more than the usual basic pub/hotel menu with a selection of seafood, meats and vegetarian and vegan options. Also have a children's menu. There is a large car park in Bewdley and from there it is just a short walk to the Mug House. Atmosphere is lovely, and the hotel is situated by the river with outside seating available. Would definitely recommend a visit.
