The landlord was rude playing on the fruit machine the beer was sour wouldn’t recommend it if changed landlord n new people would make a excellent pub
Friendly staff, seating outside at the moment due to covid, tables out front and in the beer garden at the back, lovely art work in the beer garden, really makes it feel like summer!
Terrible place. Loud, and an obnoxious landlandy that treats her staff badly by what we witnessed. Rooms unclean and bed sheets dirty. Overall cheap perhaps but not pleasant at all. Which is a shame as its a lovely little market town, we would definatly visit the area again but choose a much nicer environment to stay in.
Wayyyy too noisy on a Friday - painful and out of character with the place. The new landlady is keen to attract underage drinkers and deafening music is her hook. It spoils the village centre and is ignorant of local pizza restaurant customers.
