With walking distance of the Turf I visited before the opening game of the season. It was rammed. Standing room only and even then there was limited standing room. Even so, I couldn't fault the friendly staff trying to keep everyone served.
As a burnley season ticket holder for the past 10 years would 100% recommend going to this pub before the game for a pint or some food staff are always polite and the atmosphere is always calm so there’s no need to worry is also very cheap to go to.
Warm and friendly environment to spend with friends, have a drink, play music on the juke box, a couple pool tables and dart board and separate rooms each with a screen to watch sports or what's on. I particularly liked the karaoke and special music nights here
Been using this pub for years but the landlord now is the best one ever. Reasonable priced,great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend it.
Food always excellent and a good choice of vegetarian foods available. Homely surroundings, great Christmas Dinner this year.
