Food was OK but the orders were taken wrongly and rectified. When they heard us say we wanted to look at the dessert menu a member of staff just shouted the kitchen was closed. We was never made aware when ordering that this was the case so this was quite disappointing and was only 10 minutes are it had closed and no allowances were made to accommodate us either. Travelled to visit here and not somewhere will travel back to in a hurry.

First time I have visited this inn for a year or so but it has not got any better. Asked for zero alcohol Guinness they didn’t have any even thought I had a voucher for it ordered chicken fajitas they said they didn’t have any salsa. Then to finish it off ordered apple and blackberry crumble to be told sorry it is still frozen so settled for sticky toffee pudding which came but was cold .will not be visiting again .

The seating was cramped. Once we were seated half the group couldn’t get out because we’d been put in a corner. There was 90 minutes between the starter and main meal and when it came it was cold. Adults were served before 2 babies aged 2 and 3 who were absolutely famished. It was absolutely terrible. The orders were mixed up despite being pre ordered. Food was missing. When we informed staff food was cold the same plate was returned after being microwaved. It had obviously been left standing on a hot surface as the plate was hot. Toilets were full of sweet wrappers and toilet roll all over the floor. It was just awful. By the time we left everyone was fed up, hungry and grumpy

Came here with my family as a friend had given me a food voucher. Staff at the bar didn't sound too convincing when they agreed to take the voucher but processed it fine. Both staff seemed a little preoccupied & there was no personal greeting or touch to the visit, as others have written, this is just a generic pub with grub. Food was good, hot and arrived quickly. They don't provide sachets of condiments, rather you're provided with half empty bottles which have been used countless times before, by who knows, so not very hygienic. Also tonnes of flies swarmed us when eating! Got tired of waving them away. For some reason their bitter tasted awful so I ordered coke afterwards. I probably won't come back, there's just no reason to make the effort to come here. Shame.

It's a nice little pub and the staff are nice, I'm only putting one less star because the food wasn't too great. The atmosphere and the drinks were nice though. I'm not sure if i will return if I do it won't be for the food unfortunately.
